A very scarce large format and high denomination type issued in the late 1930s. Most of these have extensive repairs, but the ones on this one are very minor in comparison. Excellent eye-appeal for the type with strong colors and no distractions worth mentioning. Perfect for an advanced French type set and the first we have offered of this type. PMG mentions "Minor repairs; pinholes".
