Squirrelman: Wilfrid Hutchinson (Husthwaite): A Set of Six (4+2) English Oak Dining Chairs, with carved Yorkshire rose backs, green hide seats, on octagonal front legs, each with carved squirrel trademark, armchairs 91cm chairs 86cm high Leather seats with a few scuffs and marks but no tears. One of the carvers with a fair amount of craquelure - this carver also has some water splash marks to the back of the arms and some fingernail sized dents to the crest rail. The other carver has water splash marks to the left-hand arm and arm support. All chairs are a little washed out and require a polish, but are structurally sound with no repairs or other damage.
