Violin after Jakob Stainer, probably 18th/19th century, top and back with strong arching, scroll carved with a lion's head, small cracks at the edges, the top shows heavier traces of playing below the strings, l. 59 cm. Comes with a bow with ebony frog with mother-of-pearl eye and silver mounting, l. 74 cm.

Jh., Decke und Boden mit starker Wölbung, Schnecke beschnitzt mit einem Löwenkopf, an den Kanten kleine Risse, die Decke weist unterhalb der Saiten stärkere Spielspuren auf, L. 59 cm.
