An interesting flintlock folding gun by Gregori Werl dating: 18th Century provenance: Vienna Interesting, smooth, Turkish, 17 mm cal. barrel with Arabic stamps at the base, featuring bas-relieved, chiselled decorations, and silver-plated ones, bell-mouthed nozzle with rings; engraved tang; flintlock with the mark "GREGORI WERL IN HIMBERG" between floral motifs; wooden full stock sculpted with dragons and floral motifs; fine mounts engraved with busts of warriors and floral motifs, on the neck a button to fold the butt, counter-plate with mobile loop. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor. dimensions: length 68.5 cm.
