MEISSEN FIGURE CUPID AS A ROBBER

PORCELAIN FIGURE: "Cupid as a robber", Meissen manufacture, underglaze blue sword mark, mark 1860-1924 (1st choice), incised model no. L 106, blind mark 137 and painter's mark. Designed by HEINRICH SCHWABE in 1877-1880. On terrain plinth with fluted and profiled stand hiding behind a rose bush a kneeling winged putto with hat, resting an arrow in the bow. Polychrome staffage and gold accents.h. 15.5 cm (vegetation partially inconspicuously bumped and restored; mantle partially slightly rubbed and bumped).
PORZELLANFIGUR: "Amor als Räuber", Manufaktur Meissen, unterglasurblaue Knaufschwertermarke, Marke 1860-1924 (1. Wahl), geritzte Modell-Nr. L 106, Blindmarke 137 und Malermarke. Entwurf HEINRICH SCHWABE von 1877-1880. Auf Terrainplinthe mit gekehltem und profiliertem Stand sich hinter einem Rosenbusch verbergend eine kniender geflügelter Putto mit Hut, einen Pfeil in den Bogen einspannend. Polychrome Staffage und Goldakzentuierungen. H. 15,5 cm (Vegetation partiell unauffällig bestoßen und restauriert; Umhang partiell gering berieben und bestoßen).
