A French late 19th/early 20th century ormolu mounted mahogany and bois satine parquetry bureau plat signed: 'F. Linke', made or retailed by Haentges Freres With cube inlay, the gilt tooled leather inset top with a gilt bronze reeded edge, above one long central frieze drawer mounted with an ormolu relief tablet depicting frolicking and music making putti within a beaded surround, flanked by two deep drawers each mounted with a basket of flowers on an acanthus spray pedestal issuing scrolled foliage and a flowerhead, on foliate mounted stop-fluted tapering legs, the mounted edging to the top signed: 'F.
