Benedict (Ben) Chukwukadibia Enwonwu M.B.E (Nigerian, 1917-1994) - ' Fulani ' - 1949 - a 20th century African Tribal pastel / mixed media on board drawing of a Fulani tribesman in typical dress. Signed to the corner ' Ben Enwonwu ' and dated Dec 1949. Some surface marks / impressions to the painting, not affecting its display. The title ' Fulani ' partially faded above the signature, but still visible. Framed in a period ebonised frame (no glass) with a brief handwritten history of the artist to the reverse. Total size approx; 48cm x 33cm.
