[AMSTERDAM] – “VUE DU PALAIS ROYAL [À AMSTERDAM]”. , [AMSTERDAM] – “VUE DU PALAIS ROYAL [À AMSTERDAM]”. ¶ Very rare engraving by an anonymous print-maker (possibly the German artist Johann Nepomuk Gibèle (1775-ca. 1836) who engraved similar works for the Belgian publisher J.L. Van Bever) depicting the Royal Palace of Amsterdam with the “Nieuwe Kerk” (New Church) in the background. – With defects (several damaged spots & tears in upper part, partly torn in outer margins, sl. foxed/ browned), but nevertheless an attractive large-sized view (not examined out of frame). Etched & engraved view. (Publ. in Brussels by J.L. Van Bever, ca. 1820). Ca. 54 x 77 cm. Behind passepartout & framed (behind glass).
