Y A George III mahogany and tulipwood crossbanded demi-lune card table, circa 1800, attributed to Gillows, 73cm high, 101cm wide, 50cm deep (when closed)Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old minor splits and chips. Very slight 'smile' between the two leaves of the top when closed. Baize surface is a later replacement. Old screw repair made to split through top of one rear leg. Two small dark marks to centre of top (possibly match burn marks). Later screws securing the top to the base visible to the frieze behind the hinged rear legs.
