The typical example is a cleaned VF coin. The present steel-gray and straw-gold representative shows luster within the curls and plumage, and substantial definition remains. The left margins are sharper than the right borders due to misaligned dies, which is unusual for the issue. Moderate pitting is evident near RICA, and thin marks are present near the C in 50 C.
