The picture is in plane and the canvas tension is adequate. There is a recent impact damage which has caused a small paint loss. The painting has suffered from damage in the past which has been repaired through lining. The paint layer is stable overall. There is extensive overpaint across the surface. The varnish is yellowed and semi-matte and mould has developed along the age cracks of the picture. Framed 112.5 x 149.5cm
