A visually intriguing and incredibly impressive fantasy piece, this piece mules two known dies of differing fantasy pieces together. Both dies are from fantasy Taels produced in 1907, suggesting a common manufacture, though who produced these pieces is yet unknown. Adding to the intrigue is the off axis alignment between pieces, with the reverse rotated approximately 75 degrees in relationship to the obverse. Some original brilliance remains, with just a touch of handling noticed. A problem free example, and one which will be hard to find another example with this die pairing. A specimen not to be missed by the specialist in fantasy pieces.
