Guatemala Republic silver Specimen Pattern 4 Reales 1895 H-CB

Guatemala
Republic silver Specimen Pattern 4 Reales 1895 H-CB SP66+ NGC, Heaton mint, KM-Pn30, Prober-Plate X, 32-YB, Sweeny-GA9p, Stickney-C213. A wholly coveted Pattern issue from the Guatemalan series, of which so few have seemingly survived, with the Standard Catalog estimating a mintage of ten. The example at hand endures as aesthetically refined, the personified Liberty especially successfully rendered, while the iconic reverse design remains largely unchanged, all possessing ample reflectivity and cornflower-blue silhouettes. The sole finest for the type, besting even the impressive D. Moore example we offered in 2017 by the addition of a "+," yet seemingly leaps and bounds of better overall quality.
