1909-S $10 MS64 PCGS. The 1909-S Indian eagle is a challenging issue in Mint State, examples are notably scarce in MS64 or better grades. This near-Gem example displays rich orange-gold color and satiny mint luster. A loupe reveals faint handling marks on the obverse that prevent Gem classification, but these are not bothersome. Population: 55 in 64 (5 in 64+), 34 finer (6/23).
