A three-seater 'Fielding' sofa by Howard & Sons, c.1900-1910, upholstered in classic blue and white ticking, with a deep seat and raised on walnut cabriole front supports terminating in brass and leather castors, stamped and numbered to the back-left leg and to each castor, 240cm wide 104cm deep 91cm high, with a later bolster cushion and loose covers Provenance: Strutt & Parker, Lofts & Warner, Hylands near Chelmsford, 13-16 July 1964, lot 195.
