A CONTINENTAL CARVED WALNUT CENTRE TABLE PROBABLY ITALIAN, LATE 17TH CENTURY The carved scrolling foliate supports terminating in bearded masks 80cm high, the octagonal top 117 x 114cm Provenance: Formerly at Leeds Castle     Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use Old splits and cracks, chips and losses, the top with cracks and splits to the sides, also with various marks and stains from use, including apparent water damages and other staining, some warping and bending to the top detected, various marks and holes to the sides of the top including a diamond-shaped arrangement to one side Losses to the supports from woodworm and rot, some definition lost as well as sections of the carved decoration - please see additional images for an idea of the extent of these losses Overall standing solid and stable in the saleroom Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition Condition Report Disclaimer
