Commemorating the birth of the Republic. A famed commemorative of the early Republic, produced not long after Sun Yat-sen's resignation as president in favor of Yuan Shih-kai. Not often located in such indisputably choice condition. A real charmer, with underlying iridescence that illuminates the glassy planchet. The motifs survive unhandled, further enhancing the overall presentation. This is pleasing to view.
