CAESAR Elephant walking right, trampling on horned serpent. Rev. Priestly implements: simpulum, aspergillum, securis with wolf's head at the top, and apex. Babelon (Julia) 9. Crawford 443/1. RBW 1557. Sydenham 1006. Lightly toned and well centered. Struck from a somewhat worn reverse die and with a small test cut on the edge, otherwise, good very fine.
