A CHINESE CARVED WOOD PROCESSIONAL FIGURE GROUP in two sections, the first with a dignitary in a sedan chair carried by four attendants, the other section with eleven walking figures and one on horseback, on a wooden plinth, the sedan chair 4.5" (11.5cm) high, the wooden plinth 12.5" (31.8cm) long, late Qing Provenance: Acquired by the Reverend Robert Palmer (1845-1914) during his time as a missionary in China between 1870 and 1879.
