A COTSWOLD SCHOOL PLASTER PANEL DEPICTING WILD STRAWBERRIES ATTRIBUTED TO ERNEST GIMSON, EARLY 20TH CENTURY Set in a sealed back frame, unsigned 148.5 x 86.5cm Provenance: Richard Weir Shultz, The Barn, Hartley Wintney Hampshire, where purchased by A. Tilbrook, from whom purchased by Robert Kime Condition Report: With wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning. Unexamined out of sealed frame but looks to have possibly been set in this frame at a later date and with screws placed through for fixing. One screwhead visible and others have plaster cappings visible. Shrinkage cracks along construction points and with other diagonal stress faults and cracks, Edges yellowed, with some edge wear and rubbing and loss.
