A GILT DRY LACQUER FIGURE OF BUDDHA, VIETNAM, 17TH-18TH CENTURY
Well modeled seated in dhyanasana with his hands clasped together in uttarabodhi mudra, clothed in voluminous robes draping elegantly over the shoulders in large folds. The serene face with heavy-lidded downcast eyes below arched brows, and bow-shaped lips flanked by long pendulous earlobes. His hair arranged in strikingly modeled snail-shell curls surrounding the domed ushnisha.

Condition:
Overall good condition, commensurate with age, with wear, signs of weathering and erosion, losses, minor old repairs, expected age cracks, rubbing to the gilding and lacquer.

佛陀結跏趺坐，雙手於腿上合十，身著線條流暢的敞胸袈裟。雙眼微微下垂，嘴唇露出祥和的笑容，面部兩側是長長耳垂，頭髮梳成螺髻。
