Y An unusual George III rosewood octagonal candle stand, circa 1780, 53cm high, the top 30 x 30cm Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old minor chips and splits. Some old glue residue visible to gallery. Old glue and nail repair to block to underside of top. Old glued repairs to splits at sides of two legs where they meet the stem (see images). Later metal stud applied to underside of one foot.
