A REGENCY MAHOGANY 'CHAMBER' TABLE ATTRIBUTED TO GILLOWS, CIRCA 1815 73.5cm high, 59cm wide, 44cm deep Condition Report: Table with the marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some areas of more concentrated/noticeable scratches.Some minor old chips and splits. Fading to timber in areas.The expected ink marks to the interior of the hinged compartment. One divider to the compartment is lacking. The blocks/drawer runners to the sides of the interior of the carcass are possibly later replacements. Stamp to the drawer is possibly later, but the table as a whole is attributable to Gillows. Section of moulding to one side of the drawer front is lacking.
