A large and impressive Devon pottery slipware jug, inscribed 'E Fishley Maker, Fremington, 1851, with various hand painted decoration including a horse and rider, two figures with a Cow, a Stag, a horse and stable hand, flowers and plants, and with two verses including 'Success to the Farmer'. 26cms high. * Some chips to the rim and glaze loss, small hairline crack to the rim, bare area to the rim (possible restoration), handle with small chips and glaze loss, firing crack to base rim, general crazing. **BP 22.5% inc VAT + Lot Fee of £8
