A large red simulated leather backgammon case belonging to Sir Roger Moore Used during breaks on set of the filming of James Bond with Cubby Broccoli, the hinged case with carrying handle and brass plaque mounted to one corner engraved ROGER MOORE, opening to reveal a fitted interior and twenty-nine red and ivory coloured resin gaming counters, 60.5cm wide, 42cm deep, 8.5cm high (23 1/2in wide, 16 1/2in deep, 3in high) Footnotes: 'We used to play during all the breaks from shooting and the directors always had a terrible job getting me back into the set when we were in a middle of a game; if Cubby was winning he absolutely would not let me go.' - Sir Roger Moore Sir Roger Moore was an avid backgammon player, and often used to while away the hours onset playing with Cubby Broccoli, the producer of all of Moore's Bond films.
