Ives Prewar O Ga. Mottled Gray 476 Pass Set 3257 143 143 144 Circa 1928

Ives prewar O gauge very scarce mottled gray passenger set no. 476 in gray with black mottled effect simulating an alkali dust covered train having passed through the Mojave Desert, circa 1928. The set contains the following; 3257 electric loco with brass trim and journals and black die-cast frame, two 143 Parlor cars and 144 observation. The passengers cars have brass plates and trim, black vestibules, black eight wheel trucks with brass journals. The loco is C6. The passenger cars have repainted roofs and the bodies are C6. This is a very scarce set and is one of only three complete sets known to have survived.
