STARSHIP TROOPERS (1997) - Battle-Damaged Corvette Transport Model Miniature A battle-damaged Corvette Transport model miniature from Paul Verhoeven's sci-fi satire Starship Troopers. The cornerstone of the Federation fleet, UCF Corvettes came under heavy attack during the failed invasion of Klendathu. Constructed by Sony Pictures Imageworks' Thunderstone model shop, this highly detailed model miniature is made from cast resin painted green and grey. Plasma damage is visible on the hull, and burn marks are applied in blue and purple to the sides. There is a hole in the bottom for mounting to a post, and the model exhibits scuffed paint, exposing the resin.
