1935-D 50C MS66+ PCGS. The 1935-D is a lower-mintage branch issue struck during the Great Depression. A number of rolls were set aside by Wayte Raymond and other leading dealers, but at PCGS, only 16 pieces are graded MS66+ with none finer (6/23). It is little wonder that the present Premium Gem is among the finest from PCGS, since the lustrous and brilliant fields and devices are virtually devoid of marks. The strike is good, as well, although the fingers of the branch hand are incomplete, as usual.
