19th century, with an unusually high back, the upper splat with a draught motif over a burr elm seat,
104cm high Literature: Bernard D. Cotton, 'The English Regional Chair', fig. EA156, p.255. CONDITION REPORT: Possibly four turned spindles to the top row replaced. Old repairs where arms join the back. Dowels to top of arms now securing them to supports. Cut down. 39cm high. Chair back and arms are loose.
